News 【Announcement】It is a good trip to Taiwan to visit Penghu, the satisfaction is high
Penghu Good Travel provides transportation services in the form of city buses, allowing passengers to visit popular attractions such as Baisha, Xiyu, and various classic spots in the Penghu main island. Since January of this year, Penghu Good Travel has been offering different types of tour reception and guiding services on its two routes. The Ma Gong North Loop provides on-board tour guiding services, while the Ma Gong Lake West Line emphasizes local interpretation, creating a differentiated tourism experience. To better understand the satisfaction of passengers with the itinerary of the two routes, the Penghu County Government has conducted an online questionnaire from January 1st to June 30th of this year. The feedback obtained from 305 respondents during this period indicates that the majority of passengers who chose to travel on Penghu Good Travel buses are from the northern regions, accounting for 54.1% (20.3% from Taipei City, 16.1% from New Taipei City, and 17.7% from Taichung City), which is consistent with the analysis of questionnaire data from the past two years (August 2020 to April 2021 and August 2020 to November 2020). Therefore, it can be concluded that the majority of visitors to Penghu who participated in the Good Travel itinerary are from northern Taiwan.

Regarding the satisfaction level with the itinerary, passengers who chose to travel on the Ma Gong North Loop route gave high ratings of 98.7% for the driving service and 97.3% for the on-board tour guiding service. Passengers who experienced the local interpretation on the Lake West Line and received reception and tour guiding services at the Dragon Gate Closed Area, Nanlao Community, and Guoye Kiln gave very positive ratings of 89.3% and 85.1% respectively. As for other attractions where passengers used the online audio guide for self-guided tours, 91.4% of the passengers expressed satisfaction. These results show that both routes have received positive evaluations in terms of the quality of service provided, and each route has its own unique characteristics.

In addition, the questionnaire also collected information on passengers' preferences for the attractions visited during the itinerary. Among the six attractions on the North Loop, the Great Guoye Basalt Columns left the deepest impression on 75% of the passengers. As for the Lake West Line, approximately 80% of the passengers showed the most interest in the Nanliao Community. Furthermore, 95.4% of the passengers who participated in the Penghu Good Travel itinerary obtained information about the tour through the Tourism Bureau's Taiwan Good Travel website, Penghu Good Travel's official website, and Penghu Good Travel's Facebook page. Nearly 80% of the passengers planned and chose to participate in the itinerary before arriving in Penghu.

Based on the analysis of the questionnaire data, the county government will continue to shape the uniqueness and reputation of the Good Travel itinerary, strengthen online marketing and promotion efforts to increase exposure, and attract more visitors to experience Penghu. The satisfaction survey will continue in the second half of the year, and passengers are encouraged to provide suggestions. By filling out the satisfaction questionnaire, passengers will have a chance to enter a monthly lucky draw, with 10 lucky winners being randomly selected each month. The winners will receive a turtle-shaped coin purse, and the list of winners will be announced on the last day of each month (or the first working day if it falls on a holiday) on the Penghu Good Travel Facebook fan page.
